Preparing for the Project Management Professional (PMP) or the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification Exam

0 STUDENTS ENROLLED

Objective

Major corporations are adopting A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) from the Project Management Institute and the related Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, as the primary sources of competency in the field of Project Management.

Market research indicates that employers want to hire project management practitioners who have real experience leading and directing projects. To better meet this need, PMI is incorporating in the certification application process the requirement to document experience leading and directing the various tasks required in effective project management. In addition, PMI is placing increased emphasis on situational questions in the testing process to better evaluate applicant skill in actually using their PMBOK® knowledge.  This has made the test harder than it was in the past, and increases the value of preparation course work prior to taking the test.  This course, along with the review of the materials and repeated practice testing, will more than adequately prepare student to take the Certification Exam.
